IGNITING SOCIAL CHANGE AND CRITICAL REFLECTION

HOW DO WE REIMAGINE ART'S TRANSFORMATIVE POTENTIAL?

RITUAL AND RESISTANCE

Our inaugural activation brings together seven women artists across performance, video, installation, and participatory engagement.

ARTIST DRIVEN

TnT Art Lab is a socially engaged project of artist Bradley McCallum. Rooted in San Francisco's Tenderloin, McCallum has transformed a vacant storefront into a vibrant hub for artist-led projects that engage with the city's challenges and its potential for change. TnT's mission centers artists as civic actors—embedding them as residents, developing public activations, and building partnerships that connect creative practice to social change.

CONNECTION

Bradley McCallum's work has long been defined by collaboration –across disciplines, communities, and institutions. With thirty five years of experience, he has developed projects in public spaces that foster civic dialogue. TnT Art Lab builds on this foundation through partnerships that support artist residencies and public programs, weaving together creativity, resilience, and community engagement.

ART AS RESPONSE

Bradley McCallum launched TnT Art Lab in response to the realities he encounters daily in San Francisco's Tenderloin. Living and working in the city, homelessness, addiction, and systemic inequality is part of the urban landscape that he moves through. When the opportunity arose to repurpose 67 Turk Street, he drew on 35 years of socially engaged practice to create a space where artists and local partners could respond directly to these challenges. TnT invites artists to work in and with the Tenderloin—developing projects that engage the neighborhood's complexity and welcoming new voices into the conversation.
